“It’s not just the hammer and nail but the compassion that Sister-Corps provides to help others rebuild their lives.” Linda, 2023
For nearly 6 years of serving others, Sister-Corps has helped several thousand individuals or families by removing debris, performing carpentry, installing flooring or painting, donating literally gallons of blood, providing supplies for women’s shelters, and sending essential items to first responders for immediate needs at disaster locations.
Volunteers travel great distances, sacrifice personal time, give of their resources, and give service even from their homes. We like to say that while we may not be able to change the whole world, we make a difference in the lives we touch!
** Here is a quote from Gerry and Diane in Florida after Hurricane Ian destroyed their home:
“Our life has been turned around to happy days, smiles, and a light at the end of the tunnel. It really feels like a home now. We are so grateful for all the sisters have done for us. Your love, passion, kindness, care, your unbelievable strength, determination, reaching out to others in distress, and giving so much of your selves and the friendship we have gained is just overwhelming. We were living a nightmare in hell. That nightmare is over. We are awake! God Bless you all. Please stay in touch with us and come and visit.”
